Our Packaging
UK only
In 2008 we are launching a new Caffè Ritazza packaging range in the UK. Our focus has been on improving the environmental and sustainable
qualities of the materials we use. We will continue to look at ways of improving the sustainability of our packaging - we know it is
increasingly important to you as it is to Caffè Ritazza.
Not only will our packaging be easy to use and carry on the move, it will also carry recognised symbols and statements to describe the environmental qualities of each item. We use the following symbols, this is what they mean:
The trademark of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) guarantees that the wood used to make this pack comes from sustainable forests which are well managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. To learn more visit www.fsc.org
This symbol means you can put the packaging into your council's compost collection box or bag (if they provide one). This is a relatively new symbol found on biodegradable plastic packaging. The symbol signifies that the packaging has been tested (delete comma)and is suitable for putting into local authority compost collections. The film used on these items is made from cornstarch, which is totally biodegradable.
This symbol, called the Mobius loop, is most commonly found on cardboard packaging and denotes that the item is recyclable.
