Great coffee, the true Italian way, can't be made by people or machines alone, but by both; expert coffee makers, known in the trade as baristas, working with the best equipment and the finest coffee beans and blends.

At Caffè Ritazza we constantly benchmark the quality of how we roast and blend our coffee against other leading blends. Every six months our blends are put to the test in blind tastings by an independent panel of Italian coffee experts, including representatives from the prestigious International Institution of Coffee Tasters (IIAC) in Milan. That's why we are confident that our selected espresso based blends, exclusive at Caffe Ritazza, will suit every coffee lover's taste around the world.

We know that to get the best people you have to train them, and the best place to do that is in Italy, the home of the espresso, where all our Head Baristas go to learn their craft.

Caffè Ritazza's training is the key to getting the best people, and our Baristas are highly skilled in all the details, from grinding the beans and frothing the milk by hand, to carefully controlling the dose, tamping and the temperature. This is backed up by a detailed auditing programmes we continually seek to improve the quality of the coffee we serve to our customers.
