Motoring ahead at Moto

Moto has strengthened its position as the number one motorway service area provider having opened twelve new Caffè Ritazzas in key sites in 2007.

Richard Law, Brand Guardian for Moto, said: "The roll-out of the Caffè Ritazza lounges is an integral part of Moto’s future plans and enables us to offer customers what we know they are looking for."

Research has shown that motorway customers are looking for a relaxing and peaceful place to take a break, to sit down and enjoy a great coffee and high-quality fresh food.

All the new cafés showcase the improved Caffè Ritazza contemporary design that has been tailored for Moto and aims to create a comfortable and stylish environment, helping customers to relax and recuperate. With sleek counter design, soft seating and warm materials, Caffè Ritazza has created a haven from the busy motorways.

Richard continued: "We have received positive customer feedback regarding Caffè Ritazza and are trying to further meet their needs by introducing additional services like a 24-hour opening period in the new Lancaster café. The new units have been incredibly successful with our Leigh Delamere site achieving record sales in the week before Christmas."

The new sites are situated at Trowell (M1), Donington Park (M1), Tamworth (M42), Lancaster (M6), Reading (M4), Exeter (M5), Southwaite (M6), Pease Pottage (M23), Toddington (M1), and Hilton Park (M6).
